Allah (Exalted be His stature).. The One that is worshipped, the One that is praised..
The heavens and all that presides in them glorify Him as well as the earth and all that presides in them..
The more knowledge one has of his Lord (Rabb), Allah, the more fear he possesses of Him.The night and what it contains and the day and what it makes visible.. and the land and sea, all praise Allah and glorify Him.
Allah says: “And there is not a thing except that it exalts [Allah] by His praise, but you do not understand their [way of] exalting” (Al-Isrâ&": 44)
&"Allah&", the most known of all that is known; He does not need to be defined or introduced to be known for He is known by all the hearts and all souls yearn to know Him.
&"Allah&" is deified by all hearts. Souls seek His forgiveness and in His remembrance creatures find comfort and ease.
&"Allah&" put in the hearts of the people an innate state of confusion and disarray, and a need that cannot be healed or satisfied except if the slave relies on and puts his trust in his Lord (mighty and majestic is He).
&"Allah&", the Name that refers to the Divine Self that is characterized by all the Beautiful Names and Attributes.
A slave of Allah needs a sanctuary and a retreat with whom he finds security from distress and grief. Man has been created as such and he therefore needs his Lord in every condition he may experience, working to gain His pleasure for he will undoubtedly meet Him.
Allah is so generous with His slaves that He allowed them to know Him.If man feels this need for Allah, carries out the duties that have been laid on him, is confident of what Allah has in store for him and also patient with what He decrees for him, Allah makes him a prominent leader among his people, followed by others: “And We made from among them leaders guiding by Our command when they were patient and [when] they were certain of Our signs&" (As¬-Sajdah: 24).
So Allah made patience and certitude a reason to gain leadership in religion.
All creatures have a natural propensity to be connected and close to the Creator (mighty and majestic is He) and also have a natural propensity to love those who are generous to them and grant them favours, and that is Almighty Allah.
All provisions other than Iman are transitory, and any support and aid other than Allah will collapse. The honour of knowledge is derived from the honour of the subject of that knowledge. And nothing is more honourable than our Lord (mighty and majestic is He) and knowing His Attributes and Names, His wisdom, and His rights over His creation. It is for this reason that Tawheed (the Oneness of Allah) is considered to be the core of religion, and almost one third of the Qur&"an is an explicit statement of Tawheed.
Almighty Allah has placed in all His creation a sign of His existence, Oneness, Perfection, Exaltedness and Sublimity. Moreover, He has ordered us to look into these signs and to contemplate them, and He told us that these are signs for those of understanding and wisdom, the knowledgeable, and those who contemplate.
Let&"s take a quick tour around some of the verses of Allah&"s Book addressing those of understanding and wisdom, inviting them to believe in Allah, the One, the Self-Sufficient Master, Whom all creatures need. Allah says: 20- And on the earth are signs for the certain [in faith]. 21- And in yourselves. Then will you not see? (Az-Zâriyât: 20-21).
Allah says: &"Say: Observe what is in the heavens and earth&" (Yûnus: 101).
Allah says: 3- Indeed, your Lord is Allah Who created the heavens and the earth in six days and then established Himself above the Throne, arranging the matter [of His creation]. There is no intercessor except after His permission. That is Allah, your Lord, so worship Him. Then will you not remember? 4- To Him is your return all together. [It is] the promise of Allah [which is] truth. Indeed, He begins the [process of] creation and then repeats it that He may reward those who have believed and done righteous deeds, in justice. But those who disbelieved will have a drink of scalding water and a painful punishment for what they used to deny. 5- It is He who made the sun a shining light and the moon a derived light, and determined for it phases - that you may know the number of years and account [of time]. Allah has not created this except in truth. He details the signs for a people who know. 6- Indeed, in the alternation of the night and the day and [in] what Allah has created in the heavens and the earth are signs for a people who fear Allah (Yûnus: 3-6).
Allah says: 190- Indeed, in the creation of the heavens and the earth and the alternation of the night and the day are signs for those of understanding. 191- Who remember Allah while standing or sitting or [lying] on their sides, and give thought to the creation of the heavens and the earth [saying]: &"Our Lord, You did not create this aimlessly; exalted are You [above such a thing]; then protect us from the punishment of the Fire” (Âl-&"Imrân: 190-191).
He also says: “And in the creation of yourselves and what He disperses of moving creatures are signs for people who are certain [in faith]” (Al-Jâthiya: 4).
and He says: &"So have they not traveled through the earth and have hearts by which to reason and ears by which to hear?&" (Al-Hajj: 46).
and He says: &"Have they not looked at the heaven above them - how We structured it and adorned it, and [how] it has no rifts?&" (Qâf: 6).
and He says: “[It is] the work of Allah, who perfected all things” (An-Naml: 88).
and He also says: &"in that are signs for those of intelligence&" (Tâ¬Hâ: 54).
